Chat Host Hardware requirements
Hardware requirements include Pentium 3 or 4 computer systems, cameras, and Ethernet adapters. (Studios also may require Ethernet switches, routers, etc)
We would be pleased to provide a complete list of hardware that you can purchase locally from any computer store you wish.
Each computer should have the minimum configuration:
- Pentium3 800 MHz Computer System or faster.
- 256 Megabytes of RAM or more.
- 20 Gigabyte Hard Drive or larger if Chat Host will be recording video.
- High Speed Internet Access via Cable or DSL (120Kbps upstream or better).
- Windows compatible 'Webcam'.
- Microphone, Speakers (optional).
- Windows 98, 2000, XP and VISTA with latest service packs
- Free Flash Player from Macromedia Chat Host Encoder
- Latest Video and Audio Drivers
